Scholarships

The Gig Harbor Lions Club is proud to assist high school students wishing to attend college. Each year our club will award a $1000 scholarship to deserving students at each of our three local high schools:  Gig Harbor, Peninsula and Henderson Bay.

Our criteria in awarding the scholarships will, among many considerations,  emphasize the students’ community service involvement as well as their grade point average. Also, special consideration is given to students who are dealing with significant sight or hearing challenges or have expressed an interest in entering the field of sight and hearing as a vocation.

Students interested in pursuing a scholarship from the Gig Harbor Lions must complete a scholarship application or a notebook in the standard form used by the high school or school district for all scholarship applications.
