Welcome to the Gig Harbor LionsLions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 200 countries. Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Beginning in 1917, the association of Lions clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities. Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide. This year marks several milestones for Lions. We celebrate the 90th Birthday of Lions Clubs International and the 20th year of Women in Lions. View LQ (Lions Quarterly Video Magazine) on the Lions News Newtwork to see how Lions continue to make a difference everyday and everywhere. Join us in making our communities and the world better places to live. |
